The furniture is ergonomically designed for correct and comfortable sitting posture and the suitable for all kinds of sitting arrangements for individual tasks, group-work, and study conferences. All our classrooms are equipped with digital smart classes which are IT-enabled for audio-visual learning with an overhead projector, magnifying camera device, and smart boards. British Victoria School believes in arousing a child’s curiosity and interest towards learning. Use of Audio Visuals during lessons brings greater clarity and comprehension of concepts and helps children to assimilate and understand better, thereby making the lessons more interactive and enriching. The children always look forward to such lessons and sharing of information as visual stimulation always has a more lasting impression. Teaching and learning become exciting and easy in the smart classes. Curriculum mapped soft lessons enriched with animations and visuals enable teaching and learning more interesting and effective.

A well stacked library with more than 10000 books, a rich reference section and a tastefully laid out reading room is an attraction to the voracious readers of the School. All students are members of the library. Regular library periods provide an exposure to the variety of books available. Students from classes I to VII are encouraged to borrow books as per the library rules. Many useful journals, magazines and newspapers are available in the library. It is encouraging that senior students utilize the reference section effectively. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics labs The Combined Science Laboratory and Maths lab are well equipped with instruments and materials or demonstration and practical experiments for classes I to X. Teachers will take students to the laboratories whenever necessary

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. For supervision and monitoring a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.

The school has a modern Language Laboratory with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment to aid in imparting language skills. The Laboratory is effectively utilized by faculty members for imparting various self-enhancement and soft skill development activities. Laboratory proves beneficial for those students who are poor in use of English language. Students from rural areas who are generally weak in English can have sufficient ear training in the language lab. It aims at confidence building among students for interactions and presentations in English. The basic purpose of the lab is to provide students a platform to enhance English language skills, communication skills and to practice soft skills.
